Staff will take care of cooking, cleaning, all (personal) laundry, the garden, the private villa pool, the beach and security during the night. There is a fully-equipped kitchen at the villa: domain of your private villa chef Iluh. Every day Iluh will ask you for your menu wishes for the next day and in the early morning she will do all shopping (superfresh) and prepares your meals. You only pay groceries costs for the meals you use in the villa. She is a great cook and has many menu specialties you will discover and enjoy during your stay. Gardener Arya starts the day very early cleaning the pool and the garden furniture. During the day he works in the flower garden.
Spiritual place… on our beaches, over a distance of some 3 kilometers between Nalika in the east and the fisherman village of Raja Tama in the west, seaturtles come and lay their eggs in the night. The shelter in Umeanyar (‘Oemah Penyu’) counts 5-12 nests per month in this area. As owner, one night by coincidence I saw this happen right in front of our private gate to the beach. An impressively big turtle.. The spiritual meaning is a very positive one. Reason for us to build a meditation spot, close to the beach, close to the place where the seaturtle layed her eggs. If you’re seeking an easygoing place to relax in and to rejuvenate your senses, then North Bali Beach Villa Ayu is the ideal choice.

The plastic problem in Bali is huge. Ecobricks is a small scale local solution, where villagers collect plastic waste, put and press it firmly in used plastic bottles, close the bottles and use them as building bricks. We support special activities such as school classes collecting plastic waste from the ocean. Just as we support the building activities in the village, with the produced Ecobricks. Instead of this plastic simply being waste, it becomes a valuable building material.
Every year we ask the mayor of the neighboring Umeanyar village what their current priorities are for helping the village with the fund. At this moment the fund is mainly used to:
Pay the small amount of money (personal contribution) for medicine, distributed to elderly villagers who cannot afford the contribution themselves
Contribute to buying schoolbooks, school money for children from families in need (jobless, family problems).
